Today's post may put you to sleep, so you're reading this at your own risk. So I went to the doctor yesterday, and he found out I have osteoarthritis on my right knee. Yes, it's a ridiculously bad-sounding word. And what's osteoarthritis? According to arthroscopy.com:

"The breakdown of the articular cartilage within the joint. Articular cartilage is a firm rubbery protein material covering the end of a bone. It acts as a cushion or shock absorber between the bones. When articular cartilage breaks down, this cushion is lost, and the bones will grind together."

The symptoms are pain, swelling, bone spur formation and decreased motion. My knee had been spilling synovial fluid for two days, so they had to remove it. Having a needle inserted down your knee for five minutes isn't nice. I thought I was going to die. But I'm so much better now. I can walk and my knee hurts a bit and it's slightly inflated, but not as much as before. I'll be alright in a couple of days. :)

I'm like the worst eBayer of all time. I've yet to win an item because they always outbid me on the last five seconds. I'm still fairly new at this, but I hope to win something soon. It's quite addictive actually. :P
