Good things come to those who wait
How stupid can I be
It's raining men, hallelujah

Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel...

Oh, I'm nervous

Good things come to those who wait

Things have changed A LOT since my last post. And I'm so damn happy about it. I was really devastated because I had just been dumped and all, and I thought I had done a shitty work at my exams. But everything started to get better in a matter of days.

I spent nine days with my friends, partying, drinking and having a blast. I also had the chance to see a shitload of childhood friends I hadn't seen in years, so my mood started to change. But I was still hurt. I really wanted to have something with Pablo, and he told me some pretty nasty things on the phone which made me feel even worse [i.e. "I wouldn't be with you if I were single", "I kissed another guy the night after we met", etc]

But then my birthday came. I was a bit depressed about turning 20. You know, your teenage years are so intense that you think they will last forever. But my super friend Santi was there to cheer me up. I went out with him and lots of his friends, who were very nice. Some of the girls were lesbian or at least bisexual, so we went to this lesbian disco which was a lot of fun. I saw a REALLY cute guy dancing with a
female friend next to me, but I didn't have the guts to talk to him... yet. Right when we were about to leave, I stood next to him and said "It's my birthday! Kiss me!". And that's what he did :P I still can't believe it. I asked Santi if he could stay for a bit more, and he didn't mind.

His name was Miguel, 19, and he's studying Math in the same university I'm going to attend. He was incredibly sweet but shy, which made him even more adorable. We kissed for a while, and I asked him if he wanted to join our group and go somewhere else. He said yes, and we went to this other disco which has a bad reputation but I didn't mind to be there as long as I was with Miguel. A transvestite made a pass at me, which I found it was kind of fun. The disco closed at 7 AM, and Miguel's friend got lost somehow, but she was with a guy, so we thought she wouldn't mind if we left without her. He had to take his train, so I went with him, and had a very movie-ish farewell. It was so great.

He texted me the next day, telling me that the previous night was unforgettable. We kept talking and texting each other during the week, and everything was ridiculously perfect. I saw him yesterday. And to keep it short -- he's my boyfriend now. Yes, that's what you read. I HAVE A BOYFRIEND. I thought I would never said that. I'm so happy it hurts. He's simply amazing, and I can't believe someone so great is willing to be with me.

This is how I feel right now:
