Mijn reis aan Amsterdam
Wednesday, September 06, 2006

It seems like things are staring to look interesting in my life. I've just come back from Amsterdam and oh my god, it was a great experience. I did my last exam on Monday morning, and I left after lunch. Just when our plane was about to take off, they found out there was something wrong with it, and it took them almost two hours to fix that problem, so I got to Amsterdam just in time for the show. I met a very nice guy called Sergio in the plane who was also attending the concert, so we shared a taxi. I couldn't contact the guys I was going to meet there, so I stayed with Sergio and his lesbian friends. The show was spectacular. She may be almost 50, and she's been on the business for almost 25 years, but she still knows how to rock. That mash-up of "Music" with The Trammps "Disco Inferno" was the highlight of the concert. "Isaac", "Jump" and of course "Hung Up" were also great. I met my "friends" after the show, including the guy I made out with. They had rented a very cool apartment and they told me I could sleep there. I had to share my bad with Miguel. Yes, the one I kissed about then days ago. We didn't have sex, but we did pretty much everthing else. It was great. You feel powerful when you hear a man moaning while he's whispering your name. They left the morning after, and he said he would call me when he visits Madrid. We said goodbye, and I went downtown to look for a room to spend the night. Amsterdam is so cool. Everything is so clean, and everyone is really nice. I found a room in a youth hostel. Well, I found a bed in a shared room, but I didn't mind, since I was spending one night only there, and the guys I shared the room with were Spanish, and they went to Amsterdam to see Madonna as well, so we got on well. I spent the day with Sergio and his friends. I so need to go back. It's a really great city, and you have so many places to visit. I came back to Madrid today and I'm still over the moon. I can't believe I had the balls to travel abroad on my own. And I spent the night with someone I barely know. I wasn't shy to talk to a lot of stranger. What's happening to me? I don't know, maybe I'm just growing up.
