Ok, I'm just so incredibly tired. But it was worth it. These past eight days have been great. Seeing my friends, and going out and all that stuff put me in a great mood. It'd be so awesome if I were in this mood every day. Anyway. There are two more reasons to be happy/excited:

1) Brokeback Mountain got the Golden Lion at Venice Film Festival. I never thought, not even in my wildest dreams, that it'd get such a prize. I won't say this is the sign that times have changed, but it seems like we'll finally have a succesful film which involves two men falling in love AND expressing that love on-screen. Not the type of success which Shakespeare in Love or The English Patient got, but a huge cult following a la Lost In Translation. I swear I'm dying to see it. Seriously, I feel like if I don't see this movie soon I'm going to die. lol.

2) Madonna's new single is fucking great. We've only gotten clips so far but it sounds *so* incredible. It contains a sampler from ABBA's Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, which fits awesomely. I wasn't sure about Madonna releasing an all-dance album, but if it sounds like Hung Up I think I'm going to be the happiest guy on Earth. The bitch is back... and she's going to kick some asses :)
